For some, a 1,700 square foot home might not sound like enough room for a family of four with two young children. But the fact that John and Dena Baron's two-story, four bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom abode is four blocks from the beach means 1,700 square feet is more than enough space for the twosome, their 7-year-old son Jack, their 2-year-old daughter Alli and cat Zoe.

Mary Amen comes from a family with six brothers and sisters, which might have something to do with why she purchased a two-story, 4,700 square foot five bedroom/five-and-a-half bathroom. Or it might have had to do with the neighborhood, which has come to play a vital role in her life during the 25 years she has lived there. Amen moved to the Faire Marin section of Huntington Harbour because she wanted a coastal community where she could raise her four children.

Built in 2005, this 17,859 square foot, .41-acre property was the original site of the parking lot for the models of the nearby Oceana development, but was transformed into a five-bedroom/five bathroom abode with a guest house and a pool house (the home itself is approximately 5,500 square feet and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms while the guest and pool houses have one bedroom and one bathroom each).
